Brent Crude trade lower at $64.47/bbl

Crude oil futures declined by Rs 108 to Rs 5,330 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.

On the Multi-Commodity Exchange, crude oil for November delivery fell Rs 108 or 1.99 per cent to Rs 5,330 per barrel in 13,924 lots.

Analysts said the prices fell after participants offloaded their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil for December contract was trading 1.70 per cent lower at $60.25 per barrel, while Brent Crude for December contract fell 1.75 per cent to $64.47 per barrel in New York.
